TIMBER EXPORT.
COMPLAINT BY SAWMILLERS.
HOKITTKA, January 17. The regulations restricting the export of timber are causing great concern locally, where the saw-milling industry is said to be imperilled. Strong representations are being made to the Government on the matter by local bodies and others. It is suggested that the Coast should, be exempt from the operation of these regulations.
