POULTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS.
PALMERSTON N, January 16. The North Island Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Association last night allotted championships as follows: — Wairoa, Rhode Island Reds; Waipawa, Silver Wyandottes and Magpie pigeons; New Plymouth, White Plymouth Rocks and Dragoon pigeons; Auckland and suburbs, Game bantams and ducks; Poverty Bay, American White Leghorns and Tumbler pigeons; Whangarci, Barred Plymouth Rocks and Hamburgs; Huntly, Indian Runner ducks and utility Runner ducks; Hastings, Partridge Wyandottes, Buff Orpingtons, and ducks; Taihape, .Lngbsn White Leghorns and Orpingtons; Unakune, Pekins, bantams, and utility White Wyandottes; Onehunga, Old English Game, utility Buff Orpingtons, and ducks; Pukchou, Black Orpingtons and utility American White Leghorns; Ngaruawahia. Golden Wyandottes and utility White Leghorns- Gisborne, Norwich canaries; Manawatu,' working homer pigeons and Yorkshire canaries; Hawera, Black Minorcas, utility Brown Leghorns, bantams, and Pekins; Waikato, White Wyandottes, utility Black Minorcas, utility Plymouth Rocks; Te Puko, utility Silver Wyandottes.
