MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
LABOUR PARTY ACTIVE. WELLINGTON, January 10. Although tlie municipal elections do not take place until the end of April, the Labour Party is already showing much activity. The Labour Representation Committee has given consideration to the matter of nominations for the City Council, the Plarbour Board, and tho Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, and it is considered certain that many official Labour < candidates —men and women—will be_ aspirants for seats on the various bodies. No definite announcements have yet been made in connection with the although several names have been mentioned.
