ACCOUNTANCY EXAMINATIONS. WELLINGTON, January 11. It is announced that in the accountancy professional examination, held in November, 1918,' the following candidates have passed in the subjects indicated. The subjects are denoted as follow : —l3 book-keeping (stage 1), 14 mercantile law (stage 1), 15 mercantile law (stage 2), 16 auditing (stage 1), 17 bookkeeping (stage 2), 18 auditing (stage 2), 19 trustees, 20 bankruptcy, 21 company law. Dunedin centre: Anderson, A. E., 15, 20, and 21; Brickell, T. G., 17 and 18; White, H. S., 14, 16, and 20; Williamson, A., 17 and 19. At the examination for book-keeping, held in November, 1918, the following passed: Dunedin centre : E. W. L. S. Brundell, Ella N. Hastings, Theodora Mackay, J. H. Renshaw, J. A. Templeton, Marion S. White, Flora E. Wood, Invercarfvill centre: G. G. Griffiths, \H. H. M'Lean, D. O'Toole. Law Professional. —The following candidates passed sections in the subjects specified (subjects are denoted as follow:—1 contracts, 2 property 1, 3 property 2, 4 evidence, 5 criminal law, 6 torts, 7 procedure). These lists are not complete, as there are cases of candidates who were prevented from sitting, or who were affected by the epidemic.
