WELLINGTON MILK SUPPLY.
THE MUNICIPAL SCHEME. WELLINGTON, December 30. It is understood that the difficulties in the -way of the Wellington City milk scheme have been overcome. The arrangement is that the City Council makes an agreement with the vendors to carry on under the block system in supplying the city. The vendors have to be licensed, and a scheme is being devised to protect their interests, making it impossible for the council in any circumstances to confiscate their interests in their busines£e3.
