INTERESTING TO FARMERS. Many dairymen persist in the old idea of feeding the vtreaned calves on skim milk, whey, or some home-made mixture. To dp so means the loss of pounds of profit that might be theirs. The calf needs fat if hgi is tc thrive and become a profitable animal—but skim milk lacks this very, element.
