POSTAGE ON LETTERS.
RATES FROM UNITED KINGDOM RAISED. WELLINGTON, Juno 5. The British Government, commencing on June 3, has raised the letter post from the United Kingdom to l|d for the first ounce and Id for each additional ounce The postago of letters addressed to soldiers and sailors serving in all the naval and military forces of the Crown remains at Id.
