FIRE AT OMEHUNGA

SAWMILLING PLANT AND TIMBER BURNT. AUCKLAND, June 9. A fire on Saturday afternoon resulted in the destruction of the milling plant and stock of timber of the Qnehumja Sawmillmg Companv. Tho fire spread with treir.enaous ranidity, owing to a strong southwesterly wind, which was blowing straight up tho harbour, and consumed practic.-d.y the whole buildings and plant, as well as the stacks of sawn timber. This included tho planing and moulding, as well as tlie joinery departments. The mill and plant were insured in the Sun Office.
