BELGAIN REPORTS.
A Belgian communique states: There is somewhat intense artillery activity in the regions of Dixmude and Merckem. Artillery actions were particularly lively in the regions of Nienport and Dixmude during the past two days. The enemy unsuccessfully attempted to penetrate our lines near St. 'George's last evening.
