NGAPARA COLLIE DOG CLUB TRIALS.
There was a large attendance of local residents and visitors at the Ngapara Collie Dog Club's trials. The sheep were provided by the president (Mr Faloqn), and tho tr.als were held on Mv F. T. Shaw's property. Tho joint secretaries and the local committee had'-'all the arrangements well in hand, and tho various officials carried out. their duties in excellent style. The ladies of the Ngapara branch of the Red Cross Society had a refreshment tent, and did good business. Results: Maiden Event: Head, bring back, and yard (£5, £2 10s, and £l).—A. R. Rapeon's Bob, 1; S. Kennedy's Star, 2; A. M'Donald's Top, 3; .F. Campbell'9 Glen. 4; J. M'Murtiic's Noll, 5; J. M'Aughtrie's Loy, 6. Ail-comers': Plead, bring back, hold in ring, and yard (prizes, £6 and president's cup, £3, and £1 10s). —S. Kennedy's Ned, 35 po nts, 1; A. M'Donald's Top, 32 points, 2; R. A. Dixon's Boss Junior, 31 points, 3; J. M'Augh'trio's Loy, 30 points, 4; J. Trotter's Captain Pace, 28 points. 6. A patriotic concert, organised by Miss Duggan, of Windsor, was held on the evening of tho first day, and proved highly successful. During the evening a presentation was made to Mr Tom Black, fifth sen of Mr J. Black to volunteer, he being the c-ixth eon to don khaki.
