One thousand one hundred and sixtythroo articles, 119 knitted articles, 18 complete parcels, and one parcel of sundry articles, were forwarded last year to the central receiving depot of the Southland War Funds Association from tho district *
schools. This makes a total of 700 times greater than that of the previous year. From 29 branches and districts a total of 21,958 articles and parcels were forwarded as against the previous year s total of 20,754.
