QUESTION OF. LIABILITY. CHRISTCHURCH, May 7. In the Supreme Court Mr Justice Herdman gave his reserved judgment in the case Marcus Leslie Millins, traveller, against the Attorney-general, to declare that ho was not a resident of New Zealand, and, therefore, waa not liable to bo called up for service in the Expeditionary Forces. His Honor said he had cqmo to the conclusion that the question raised was one to bo determined by the Military Service Board, and not by Hie Supreme Court; therefore ho refused to make an order.
