ARBITRATION COURT. CHBISTCHURCH, May 1. The Arbitration Court gave judgment today in an application by the employees under the" builders, contractors, and general labourers' award for an increase in their war bonus from 10 to 20 per cent. The judgment states that the court, after careful consideration of the statistics, is satisfied that the general living conditions do not substantially differ now from thoso existing when the award was made. A majority of the court therefore decided that tho application should be dismissed.
