The Prime Minister has received the following cable message from the Prime Minister of Canada, acknowledging New Zealand's gift of £IO,OOO in aid of the relief of sufferers by the Halifax disaster: The Government of Canada are deeply grateful for the very substantial gift mado by the Government of New Zealand for the relief of Halifax. This splendid expression of 'Sympathy will be warmly appreciated by the people both of Halifax and the whole dominion.
