ALEXANDRA MOTES.
ALEXANDRA, February 22. After a few dull days,_ heavy rain fell on Sunday evening, starting at 7 o'clock. Rain fell heavily till about 11 p.m., 44 points 'falling in that short time. Since then the weather has taken up, and warm, bright days prevail. The local rabbit preserving factory has made a fresh start, after being closed down for many months-through lack of shipping. This brightens the local outlook considerably.
