THE PALESTINE CAMPAIGN.
Official advices from the East state that the Arabs operating between Mecca, and Medina have destroyed 3000 rails of the Hedjaz railway, and have captured numerous Turks. Palestine official messages state:—Arab forces, under the King of Hedjaz, continue their successful operations. They have repeatedly raided the Hedjaz railway northward of Medina, effecting important demolitions. The British line advanced to a depth of two miles on a front of six miles astride the village of Mukhmas, north-north-east of Jerusalem., vvith little opposition.
