A report fey Mr Baker, United States War Secretary, dated 9th inst., opens with the foSlowing statements —A big German offensive at several points on the West front is imminent.. Germany is * strengthening the West front with troops from the Austrian and Russian fronts. There is great dissatisfaction in Austria, owing to the despatch of Austrians to the West front.
