tho high country, and in many cases is tho only food procurable by the sheep. On a small farm near New Plymouth two High School boys worked during the Christmas holidays harvesting, shearing, and ploughing, and did quite good work. Finding themselves, one boy drew for 27 working days £9 16s lOd, and tho other for 28 days £lO 15s 7d.
