The sum of £11.344 was raised in Fiji in response to the Red' Cross special np|>eal. This is an increase of 3252 on the junount contributed to the fund in 1916.
Some potato crops in the Ilorowhcnua district have been phenomenal, but during the past, few weeks the ravages of blight have affected many.
