A PULVERISED HUN BATTERY, SHOWING THE EFFECT OF CONCENTRATED GUN FIRE. This was the position of one of the Hun's heaviest gun batteries in Flanders until the French commenced their attack, preceded by artillery preparation. It serves to show how completely the allies are knocking the German war machines into scrap heaps.
