An extraord:nary accident happened at the Kaiti freezing works (says the Poverty Bay Herald). A slaughterman named Hydo was about to kill a sheep, when it kicked the knife out of his hand, and it pierced his left wrist, cutting the veins and' arteries. Medical attendance wus called, and the patient wai sent to the hospital.
