Sir Frederick E. Smith, British Attorney-General, states 1 :.t the conditions existing on all battle fronts at present make it impossible for any Allied commanders or General Staffs to forecast in any Way the events of the next three months. However, there can be no doubt that a critical period lies before the Empire.
It is estimated there are now 1,200,000 strikers in Austria.
