A STABBING AFFRAY.
CHRISTCPIURCH. January 12. In an affray on a vessel berthed at the. Gladstone pier at Lyttelton, a seaman named Olfe Holden was seriously wounded in the face and stomach with a knife. Another member of the crew, .John Christoffers-on, has been arrested and remanded. Holden is in the Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
