OUTRAM.

December 31. —The recent rains have had a most beneficial effect on. the turnip and mangold crops, and freshened up the grass and grain crops, which were much in need of rain. The waggons are busy carting the wool from the back country. Death.—lt is with regret that I record the death of Mr D. T. Inglis, manager of the National Bank, who died after a tively short illness. Deceased, who was superintendent of the Outram Sunday school, and an elder in the West Taieri Church, will be much missed, and his place will be very hard to fill.
