Fifty aged and wealthy Germans, with their families, have arrived at Basle, Switzerland, having been venti&rQd homeless as the result of the "reprisals" air raid on SViannheirn. The raid created immense havoc, and the populace are terrified. The refugees state that the Germans brought Allied officer prisoners into an enclosure near the main railway station at Mannheim, hoping to dissuade the British from further raids.
