A young officer, whcse parents are well known in the district, has had a unique experience (says the Matausa Ensign). He was wounded by shrapnel some timo ago, and in a letter to his ho states that the *nrgeon who attended to his wound located the shrapnel fragment and found almost alongside of it a pea. rifle bullet which had been embedded in lib body since the occasion when a 3 a boy ho had been the victim of a minor ahooting accident.
