The Hawke's Bay Herald says that instructions have been cabled to the Church Army headquarters to name a hut "The Ormondville Hut" Mrs J. D. Ormond, of Napier, having sent a handsome sum for a hut to be given to the soldiers in memory of the late Hon. J. D. Ormond. whoso pioneer work for the dominion is kept in mind bv the name of the town, " Ormondville." "
