A case of what might be termed real hardship was disclosed at the Juvenile Court on the 7th (states the South!Mid Times). A small boy was before the magistrate, Mr .Cruickshank, charged with the theft of a sum of money. It transpired that the boy, himself 10 years old, had eight brothers and sisters, his father was in the hospital, and his mother supported the family on 12s 6d a week and. what charity might bring. KOLA-NIP —a temperance drink compound—ia unique in its keen, nutty flavour. Can be given freely to children as well as adults. Keen a bottle in the houso for friends and visitors.
