Among the illustrated articles in the November "Windsor Magazine is an interesting account of the famous "White Tower of Salonika. TLe survey of its history, given by Major Claude Askew, is full of interesting points, and the photographs which accompany it illustrate the latest phase of its occupation by soldiers of the Allies. In another articlo the use of barbed wire as a defenwvi} factor in the W is described, and 'ho photographs which illustrate this article emphasise its varied development. A most interesting account of personal experiences on the Italian front is contributed by Crowley- Tarbolton, who records his own adventures while driving an ambulance car for the Italian authorities. An article on MioJuselmaa customs includes a number of curious aud interesting facts and sorno unfamiliar illustrations. The fine art feature consists of a group of reproductions from illustrating the seasons of the year, autumn being the theme of the present 6elec•Jion. The fiction ia varied and attractive, including a delightful new episode in the careers of Commissioner Sanders and "Bones," by Edgar Wallace, and other complete stories by' "Keble Howard, I*. G. Moberly, J. B. Hsrris-BHrland, Edwin Pugh, Theodore Goodridge Roberts, A. B. Cooper, and a new authoT, A. M. Burxage.
