ANNUAL HORSE SHOW. The animal horse show of the Otago A. and P. Society will he held at Tahuna Park on Thursday. In the aged Clydesdale stallion 'class 11 entiles have been made, in the three-year-old class three, and in the two-year-old class three. Although the number of horses entered in the Clydesdale classes is considerably smaller than last year, the quality exhibited will be of the highest, and competition is sure to be keen. In the classes for carriage, hackney, trotting, thoroughbred, and pony stallions the entries are also fewer than' those of last year, but some of tho best animals in the province will try conclusions in the show ring. For tho 50-guinea Clydesdale Horse Society’s Wright, Sephenson challenge cup 11 entries have been received, and these horses will be examined by Messrs Snowball and Kerrigan, M.R.C.V.S., at the Otago Farmers’ Co-operative Horse Bazaar on Wednesday morning in compliance with the conditions under which tho cup is offered. Tho judging of the horses will be commenced at Tahuna Park punctually at il a.m. on Thursday. The exhibit numbers of the horses will be handed to tho .-men in charge at the gates at Tahuna Park, and no animal -will be admitted without a ticket.
