All Nominations and Acceptances must be accompanied by the necessary Fees; otherwise they may b-i deemed informal. Any entry or acceptance mado by telegram oi telephone must be confirmed in writing forthwith, giving full particulars. If not confirmed within seven day 3 the owner will be fined £2. 2. NOMINATIONS for All Handicaps, including Time Trots, to bo made to the Secretarv on or before 8 p.m. on. MONDAY, October'B, 1917. 3. WEIGHTS will be declared on MONDAY, October 15, 1917. 4. Acceptances will be received up to 9 p.m. on THURSDAY, October 18, 1917. 5. HANDICAPS for Second Day will bo declared at 9 p.m. on OCTOBER 22. Acceptances at 10 p.m. 6. Winner of any race after declaration of weights may be rehandicapped. 7. The New Zealand Rules of Racing will be strictly adhered to. 8. The Trotting Baces nre held subject to the Rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. 9. Entries to state name, age, colour, and pedigree of horse, naDie of owner and trainer, and colours of the rider, and performances of all horses not known to the handicapper. Note: All riders must appear in proper jockey costume and ride in the colours declared, or a substantial fine will be imposed. This rule will be strictly carried out. 10.
