MALEY.—On September 16, 1917, at the 18th General Hospital, Daunes Camiers, from wounds received while in action, Private Thos. Malev (24th Reinforcements), dearly beloved son "of the late Patrick and Mary' Maley, of Clarksville, Tokomairiro; aged 32 years. 8.1. P. MEDEE.—On August 10, killed while on active service in France, Lance-corporal George Herbert Meder (Engineer and Tunnelling Corps.), dearly beloved son of Janet and Hie late. KICOL.—On September 17, 1917, died at sea., Private John M'Rae Nicol (lan), 7th Reinforcements, third son of the late Alexander and Johanna, Nicol, and beloved nephew of Miss H. L. Nicol, Mrs Edmond, William street, and brother of Ruby and Lilian Kicol, of this city; in his 23rd year. SHIEL.—On Septemlwr 8, 1917, from wounds received while in action in France, Private Vincent Patiick Shiel (23rd Reinforcements), dearly beloved second son of Charles Alexander and Elizabeth Shiel, St. Clair; aged 20 vear3 and 10 months.
