The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew the third race of the season from Ashburton —an air-line distance of 150 miles —on Saturday last, in very unfavourable weather. An enterprising country woman in New South Wales, Miss Mary White, daughter of Mr F. J. White, of Arruidale, has ooine, forward and Bet a fine example to other women with private means.
