[Answered by a duly qualified Veterinary Burgeon Quartos must be received by SATURDAY, nigh' to ensure reply in the succeeding issue.] Native.—Growth on cow's eye: You might apply the following lotion five or six times a day:—Sulphate atropia 2gr, water loz; or tr. opium 4oz, water loz. Farmer.—Draught mare scouring and gradually getting thinner in condition: You might try the following prescription : —One ounce of laudanum and ether, with a scruple of tannin, given in gruel ot ale. It may be advisable to supplement it with tonics such as 2<-1r of sulphate of iron 7-epeaied twice a day, mixed in her food. In all cases an entire change of food is advisable.
