THE NEW ZEALAND NURSES' MEMORIAL.
The committeo which has for some time been quietly but steadily working in the promotion of the above-named philanthropy has achieved a considerable measure of success. Up to the present Otago and Southland and Wellington are the only portions of the dominion which have been canvassed in the interests of the fund. These districts, and especially Wellington, have responded well to the appeal that has been made to them, as will be seen from the following list of donations. The headquarters of the organisation will be in Dunedin, with members of the committee appointed from various parts of the dominion, and the funds already in hand have, to the extent of £2500, been invested in inscribed stock of the New Zealand war loan. It is hoped that donations from residents in Otago will continue to come in, and that a further investment in war loan bonds will be possible ere long.
