SLANDER ACTION.
WELLINGTON, August 30. The slander case of Isabel and Gladys Davey against Arthur Waldemar Schaef, a claim for £IOSO damages, was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day. A verdict was returned for £625. _ It was alleged that Schaef, while plaintiffs were his tenants, made statements imputing unchastity to them.
