SATURDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER—Acceptances for All Events close -with the Secretary at 9 o'clock p.m. All Entries and Acceptances must be addressed to the Secretary, and contain money, name, description, age, and pedigree of horses, names of owners and trainer, and rider's .colours. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a 10lb penalty, and for every additional race % 7lb penalty. Horses carrying 9st 10lb or over, half the above penalties; or, if the handicapper deems fit, he may increase the above penalties. 2. Th© winner of the "Wa-itaki Trot to be Rule 172, Rules of Trotting.—By the entry of, or endeavouring to enter a horse, every person having or subsequently acquiring an interest in such horses shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rules, and to be barred from questioning the action or conduct of the club or any body holding a sports meeting, or any other official of the club, or such other body, in respect of siich horse, or any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX. 3. Five shillings Provident Fund must be paid on all trotting horses before starting. 1. Races will be run under New Zealand Rules of Racing. 5. Trotting Races will be ran under rules of New Zealand Trotting Association. Approved by 'he Dunedin Jockey Club (H. L. Jamea, # secretary), and New Zealand Trotting. Association (J. B.
