A WEDDING IN LONDON OF INTEREST TO NEW ZEALAND.

There was a large congregation at St Maryle bone Parish Church on June 5, when Miss Kathleen Airini Mair, only child of Captain Gilbert Mair, N.Z.C., and the late Mrs Mair (nee Sparry), of Auckland, New Zealand, was married to Captain the Hon Ralph Frederick Tempest-Vane, Durham Li?ht Infantry, youngest son of Lord and Lady Barnard, of Raby Caetle. Colonel Hamilton Pelly gave the bride away. She looked beautiful in her dress of white satin with tunic of gold and white brocade over a skirt of pleated white tull. Her Russian headdress of orange blossoms was worn over a veil of old Brussels lace, lent by Mrs Harington Stuart. The bridal bouquet was of white roses, orange blossom, and stephanot;s from the gardens of Raby Castlo. The only bridesmaid was Miss Juliet Madocks (cousin), who wore a frock of ecru net and a gold filet cap. Captain T. M. D. Robson was the best man. The ceremony was performed by the Kev. William Clark. At its conclusion a reception was held by Mrs W. L. Buller and Mrs "W. R. N. Madocks at 21 York terrace, kindly lent by Mrs Harington Stuart.
