DEATHS.
GRAY. —On March 25, 1917, died from wounds received while in notion “ Somewhere in France,” Sapper Thomas Alexander (7th Bein for cements), fifth son of the late Robert Gray (Centre Hill Station), and beloved brother of Mrs Fleming, Mrs M'Hardy, Mrs Henslev, Mrs Kedzlie, Messrs A. Gray (Masterton), W. Gray (Blenheim), Privates B. and J. S. and Sapper 0. Gray; aged 28 years. Greater love hath no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends. KEYS.—-On April 14, 1917, at No. 3, General Hospital, Codford, from pleurisy, Private F. 0. Keys (19th Reinforcements), dearly loved son of Mr and Mrs B. H. Keys. REID.—On March 24, killed while in action ip Franco, Sapper Thomas Miller Reid (N.Z. Engineers, 13th Reinforcements), second dearly beloved sox; of Mr and Airs J. H. Burrell, Alma; in his 25th £ear.
