DEATHS. BLAIKIE.—On April 13, 1017, at the Gore Public Hospital, Duncan (who was wounded at Gallipoli on May 3, 1910), beloved son of John and Catherine Blaikie; aged 22 years. COYLK— On March 24, killed while in action "Somewhere in France," Private Edward (Edsie) Ooyle (17th Reinforcements), dearly beloved eldest son of J. "and J. Coyle, of Kyeburn and Paerau; aged 25 years and ll" months. H.I.P. Ho did his duty. PHASER.—On Maroh 24, killed while in action at Armentieree, Prance, Private John Fraser (17th Reinforcements), dearly loved son of Peter and Barbara Fraser, ID David street, Oayersham; aged 20 years. GRAY.—On March 25, 1917, died from wounds received while in action "Somewhere in Prance," Sapper Thomas Alexander (7th Reinloroements), fifth son of the late Robert Gray (Centre Hill Station), and beloved brother of Mrs Fleming, Mrs M'Hardy, Mrs Hensley, and Mrs Kcdzlic; aged 28 years. SANDERSON.—On October 2, killed while in act-ion at Somme, France, Private William Sanderson (11th Reinforcements), dearly loved son of James Sanderson, Anderson Bay; aged 40 years.
