POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at" the Chief Post Office aa under: — THURSDAY, APRIL 19. For Chatham Islands (from Wellington), by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters 10.30 a.m., and railway station till 11.14 a.m. Mails for South Sea Islands by next available steamer. Mails for United Kingdom, Expeditionary Forces abroad, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be despatched from time to time by the best routs without epecial notification. Correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship. Money orders for places within thedomion close one hour before advertised time of closing letter mails. Money orders for places bbyond the dominion for despatch bv the North or South Express close at 4 p.m. the previous day. Registered mails close one hour before advertised time of closing ordinary mails. Book packets, commercial papers, and newspapers close half an hour before the advertised time of letter mails.
