A report received by the Auckland branch of the- Red Gross Society from the British .section of tho Bureau for the Relief of Prisoners of War, with headquarters in Switzerland, states that a large quantity of bread is 6ent weekly to prisoners of war in Germany separate parcels being sent to each roan. Roughly, 71b of bread a ■week is sent to each man at a cost of about 7s 6d a month.
