DoLUE.—Unless you think the bride is likely io be superstitious about anyone wearing black at a wedding, you could quite well go in it, only it should be relieved with some touches of white, so as not to look too sombre. Otherwise I would suggest something in black-and-white, with perhaps a touch of violet or heliotrope, and such a. dress would be useful to von when you go out of full mourning.
