AUCKLAND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
DANNEVIRKE, April 14. The Governor laid tho foundation stone to-day of the Children's Hospital being ciecfccd by tho Auckland Hospital Board at a total cost, including equipment, of about £24,000. The building has been designed for 70 beds, but there will bo amplo accommodation for 100 cots. In the courso of a speech, tho Hon. G. W. Russell stated that 7500 children were treated in the public hospitals of the dominion in 1915.
