WANUANUI, April 11. j The dominion conference of the Now Zealand Federation of Painters and Decorators v/ua concluded today. It was resolved that tlie National Executive should take a ballot of affiliated members on '.he question of cancelling registration under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act. and it was further decided to urge.all affiliated unions to seek aililia-
tion with the United Federation of Labour. The conference also passed a resolution expressing the need of legislation to prohibit the use of white lead in paints owing to its injurious effect on the workers.
