DUNEDIM HOSPITAL GUILD.
The annual meeting of the Dunedin Hospital Guild and first working meeting of tho year was hold on the 12th in First Church Hall. There was a very fair attendance of members. The resignation of Mrs Batchelor as a member of committee was received with much regret. _ The following office-bearers wero elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs Rameay; vice-presidents—Mrs Carr and Mrs John Roberts; treasurer, Miss Hutchison; hon. secretary, Mrs Stuart Holmes; committee —Mesdamef. Vanes, H. Guthrie, 4 " Duke, Romison, Barnett, Mowat, Spedding, and Glendining. Tho committee would appeal to all those interested in the welfare of the sick and suffering to do their utmost to increase the membership of tho guild, as it is felt that the "work of tho guild is more necessary than ever, as tho Hospital increases in size and importance. The balance at tho bank —namely, £s_ 6= Id, which is the lowest for many years—increases the need for an accession to the membership.
