The coroner found that death was due to heart failure. The total assets of the -Wellington Harbour Board as at September 30. 1916 (says the Post) arc estimated at £1.455.606. of which £196.614 represent cash assets (including £25,812 special reserve fund). £187.953 sinking fund. £2-069 accrued interest on fixed deposits, £989 accrued rent on goods in bond. £4271 value of hoop steel in stock, £493,646 as real estate (including retaining sea walls), and £530.034 as the value of wharves, stores, sheds, offices, dredges, launches, buoys, moorings, plant, and machinery.
