Hugo consignments of fruit arc being sent forward to the market daily from the Clyde and Alexandra railway stations (says the Dunstan Times). The start's at both stations have a very busy time in the mornings oui:;;j to the largo number of consignment notes, which is the result of the successful attempt of many growers to establish a private 1 order business. Considering the largo amount of fruit going on to the market prices are keeping up wonderfully well. In the Norfolk Island notes of the " Southern Cross Loe." tho publication issued by the Molanosian Mission, reference is made to the fart that lemons, of vch : oh there are enormous quantities on the island, are now being turned to commercial account. The iuice 1= evporto'l in c-> = Irs for lemon squash, and the rind is turned into candied nri ! nu tho island. Over a quarter of a million lemons were gathered off tho mission lands alono.
