REILLY, GILL, AND CO., Auctioneers and Commission Agents, Moray place, Dunedin. CHRISTCHURCH MARKETS. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 9. Although a few lines of wheat are occasionally submitted, neither millers nor merchants care to make any offer for it until something definite is settled. The wheat market, is therefore at a standstill. New oats, mostly Algerians, are coming forward, but the demand is practically for seed lines, and is not very active. For really good lines 2s 9d to 2s lid, at country stations, is offered. Ryegrass seed is offering freely, and is apparently in plentiful supply this season. Good weighty seed is saleable, but light is neglected. Yesterday's splendid fall of rain will greatly benefit root crops. COMMERCIAL CABLEGRAMS. Pr*«» .«.«»ooiation—By Telegraph—Copyright.
