CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE.
Over 300 Christians spent the first two clays of the new year in all-day meetings in the Gospel Hall, Moray place, in prayer, praise, and ministry of the Word of God. Friend 3 arrived from many prats of both islands, and wore aeci mmodatcd by local Christians. Six or seven brethren, who give their whole time to Gospel work and visiting, wore prefer!.. The ministry of these and others was much appreciated. Much prayer was offered for kings .and those in authority for special wisdom and guidance during the present world crisis, and that tiie nations might be humbled to seek deliverance from God. Sympathy was also expressed for the suffering and bereaved.
